Who we are
This site, dirigolabs.io, is operated by Dirigo Labs, the venture studio operated by Dirigo Valley Systems (“Dirigo Labs,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we handle through the public website and how we treat it.
It applies to the public marketing site only. It does not cover our internal tools or the portfolio companies we build, each of which maintains its own policies.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form or email us directly, we collect your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
Usage and analytics data. When analytics are enabled, we collect aggregate, privacy-preserving data about how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymized.
Technical data. Our hosting and network providers automatically log standard request information such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps to operate and secure the site.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and partnership requests.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
- Understand site usage in aggregate so we can improve it.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or third-party marketing.

Cookies and analytics
Where analytics are enabled, our analytics provider may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure aggregate usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on. The site remains fully usable with cookies disabled.
Data retention
We keep contact-form and email correspondence only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, then delete or anonymize it. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's default retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We rely on reputable providers and standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege data handling — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
